Wednesday's Video: Ethel Smith Performs "Tico Taco" on the Hammond Organ

When I watch this video, I think of two things:

1. It's a shame that few people have this kind of mastery over an instrument these days.
2. It's hilarious how the rest of the girls are obviously not playing their instruments, save perhaps the bongo player.

The insane crossovers! A perfect sense of rhythm! The complicated melody lines! And the fact that she's playing on two keyboards and finding time to tap on the tambourine! Not to mention that Ethel Smith looks like quite the classy lady!

I wish I knew what context this video was in, because I wonder why all the other girls are wearing what appear to be circa 1950's Girl Scout uniforms. Smith's technical prowess is just so astounding I wanted to share this with all. Enjoy!
